Account Manager (St. George, UT)

EKR is a fast-paced agency environment full of energy. We pitch to win the business and we work hard for success in the campaigns we create.

Account Managers at EKR are the passionate team members responsible for client relationships and who work closely with the team to collaborate on and manage client projects. 

This Account Management role will work with both our service team members (strategy, creative, digital, media, PR & content, and web development) and our new business team.  Our account managers are catalytic in maintaining positive relationships and selling clients to work with our team as long-term partners.

Requirements

  • Location: Resides in St. George Area
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Past Experience: 2+ years working as an Account Manager or similar position
  • Highly effective communication with a warm enthusiastic attitude
  • Meticulous organization with the ability to prioritize and solve problems
  • Demonstrated success in managing people and client relationships — Leadership experience a plus
  • Ability to write and speak effectively and respond in a timely manner
  • Calling/emailing/connecting with new leads
  • Facilitating client meetings
  • Coordination with other team members
  • Time tracking in a CRM software tool

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage upselling new business to current client base
  • Experience working in an agency environment is a plus
  • Web development knowledge and/or experience is a plus
  • Proposal construction
  • Proposal writing

Responsibilities

  • Owns the overall health, profitability and growth of assigned accounts
  • Handles day-to-day communication with clients and internal team
  • Takes ownership for client projects and its completion and delivery to clients
  • Manages and motivates assigned team members to ensure client needs are met
  • Helps clients stick to budgets and offers creative solutions for handling scope creep
  • Anticipates problems and creates contingency plans
  • Identifies opportunities for new business and account growth
  • Is a holistic marketer in providing strategic guidance, tactical recommendations, and leadership to clients
