UX/CRO Researcher
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze the website’s audience, acquisition, and behavior data to understand what is working on the site and identify areas of friction
- Perform KPI audits and create benchmark reports to measure impact of changes to the site on engagement and performance
- Research competition to identify opportunities and get insights into the features and experiences on other sites
- Document and present issues and recommendations for improvements
- Design, implement, monitor, and report on a/b, split URL, and other types of testing to validate ideas and decisions
- Work closely with site owners, design, content, developers, and digital marketing specialists on the creation or refinement of templates, pages, microsites, etc.
- Share insights and best practices on user experience and conversion rate optimization
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in a UX/CRO role and proficient in:
- Research, data analysis, test creation
- Understanding user experience, journeys, and concepts surrounding conversion rates and how to improve them
- Problem solving, decision making, and attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to various types of work groups and C-level executives
- Managing roadmaps, projects, and tasks
- Software related to the UX/CRO research process such as Google Analytics, VWO (testing tools, heatmapping, form analysis, funnel analysis), presentation creation, and spreadsheets
